An eBike with just a single gear, we’ve kept things simple. Instead of wasting time switching between them, you can keep up momentum whilst speeding up, with your eyes on the road ahead. Meanwhile, the new lightweight Bafang 250W rear engine will amp you to the front of the pack, and silently so thanks to its smart Carbon belt drive technology.
The electric bikes’ LED display, showing 5 levels of assistance, puts you in total control of how much power you need; whether climbing up hills or cruising on flatter ground. And when it comes to charging up, its easily removable battery avoids the hassle of having to bring your bike inside. You can travel up to 70km on a single charge with the LG 418Wh (11.5Ah) battery and up to 90km when upgrading to the 500Wh battery.
Its lightweight Bafang H400 rear motor is reliable, efficient and durable; meaning that you can always count on its 250W of power (and 32Nm of torque) to propel you forwards. The motor has also been carefully placed to offer better traction and less gyroscopic effect when steering at higher speeds; so you can ride without the worry of losing control.
The Amsterdam+ has also been fitted with the no-noise and maintenance-free Gates CDX Carbon Belt Drive system. Created with stretch-free carbon fibre tensile cords, the advanced urethane technology results in a belt that’s weather-resistant, flexible and durable.
And now standard fitted with an adjustable handlebar stem, updated geometry, hydraulic brakes, fenders, an LED front and LED rear seat post light; the Amsterdam+ is the ideal urban commuter bike. With a simple push of the pedal the single-speed motor kicks in automatically. No need for gears. Just accelerate smoothly and ride. The in-build 5 support levels are operated by the display. You decide how much power assistance you need to accelerate. We’ve carefully designed the ultimate gearing ratio (63/22) that offers you a perfect level of resistance through all 5 support levels. The Amsterdam+ Single Speed Rear Motor concept makes you operate in full harmony with your bike.
With its newly optimised drive train, the Amsterdam+ makes the most of the improved transmission between its belt, motor and further optimised ratio. Additionally, its zero maintenance Gates CDX belt drive has been created with stretch-free carbon fibre tensile cords and advanced urethane technology, resulting in a weather-resistant, flexible and durable belt.
With its seamlessly integrated battery, the Amsterdam+ can cruise for up to 70km on one charge with the 36v 11.5Ah battery, or up to 90km when upgrading to the 36v 14.5Ah battery. Running low? No worries. The lightweight aluminium frame allows for a smooth and comfortable ride, with or without motor assistance.
We have carefully selected the WTB Horizon tyres for the Amsterdam+. This tyre brings supple plus-size traction and smooth riding characteristics. This high-volume 650b tire pairs an all-weather herringbone pattern with parallel grooves to improve cornering traction on crumbling tarmac and increase comfort on hardpack. The Horizon provides deceivingly svelte performance on pavement, with resilience that isn’t shaken by chasing confidants down dusty roads. The Horizon creates a new riding experience, regardless of where your exploits lead you.
The Amsterdam+ is standard fitted with premium hydraulic disk brakes, providing the ultimate stopping power. And with the inclusion of their premium levers, you can feel safe in the knowledge that you brake powerfully and smoothly in any condition.

The Amsterdam+ is fitted with a compact and premium LCD Display. It shows battery charge, instant speed, and mileage. It can be easily read also with direct sunlight thanks to the high contrast display. We have chosen a ‘moustache’ shape bar, to offer you a more comfortable seating position. In combination with the adjustable handlebar stem from German leading manufacturer Ergotec, you will always find your comfort for longer rides. The grips offer extra support for your palm and all your essentials are directly in reach.
Your bike is already assembled at our assembly facility in Europe. At arrival, you simply fit the pedals, adjust the handlebar and saddle. If your bicycle comes with a front carrier rack or additional accessories, these will need to be installed at delivery. But we’re always available to assist.

The bicycle industry is however facing continued uncertainty in its supply chain. In short, there are too few parts and components available at the moment, our suppliers therefore are not always able to meet their promised deadlines and the limited transport possibilities caused by the Coronavirus pandemic are still restricting the international movement of goods.
Our top priority is being as reliable & transparent as possible when it comes to delivering your bike to you. We are in close contact with our suppliers in order to be able to react quickly to changes in component availability should this impact delivery times communicated to our customers.
